Nyilván erősen módszertani indíttatással: warm-up exercise, vagy csak egy sima speaking insert, ha laposodna az óránk (Casio nem jáccik).

Vajon ki hányszor mondta már, hogy ...ammm, a bunch of bees..., vagy: a lots of dogs, amikor egy raj méhet, vagy egy falka kutyát szeretett volna kifejezni?

Ez egy feladatkészítő alkalmazás, ami teljesen ingyenes:

Elsőre talán nem könnyű kezelni, de elég hamar rá lehet jönni, hogy hogy működik. (Hogy-hogy? Működik?!) Ha valakinek kérdése van, szívesen segítek.

Íme, egy saját agyszülemény, ízelítőnek. Gonosz, és csak öt perc van rá, de a lényeg, hogy mindenféle beállítást ki lehet találni, attól függően, hogy ki használja, kikkel, mikor, hogyan, bla-bla-bla. A játékhoz csak klikkelj a számokra a keresztrejtvényben!

A 650-es lista többi része szép fokozatosan, vagy nem szépen, de fokozatosan jön majd!

Néha bizony nem is, de a logika (majdnem mindig) benne van. :) Ha valakinek van még a birtokában olyan szó, amely összetétele, vagy valami más tulajdonság okán trükkös módon működik, ha használatba kerül, lőheti bátran!

Érdekesség, hogy ezek legtöbbjét rendetegszer tanítottam már, és minden korosztály képes megérteni elsőre, hogy ezek hogyan működnek, aztán átmennek kritikusba, amikor egy amcsi múviban mother-in-laws-t hallanak. Imádom. :)

Whatta deezy, baby?

Következzen egy rövidebb bejegyzés, ami szigorúan véve módszertani vonatkozású. Biztosan mindenki használja az audiovizuális médiát nyelvtanulásra, illetve tanításra, ezért itt a kérdés: ha az alább listázott kifejezéseket találta magának mondjuk 10 tanuló egy felirattal nézett filmben, akkor mi volt a múvi?

(Megint ugyanaz az érdekesség - van olyan tanítványom, aki 6-7 év távlatából a mai napig emlékszik egy filmre, amit néztünk, a szitura, amiben szerepelt egy adott kifejezés, s amely azóta már az aktív szókincse részét képezi.)

Íme néhány kifejezés:

Szóval tudom, hogy erre nincs mindig mód, de számtalan filmet veséztem már ki tanuókkal, vagy kapták meg házinak, hogy kijegyzeteljék az első 30 percet, stb (szinttől is függ), és naná, hogy működik. Tökéletes alkalom arra is,hgy a rossz berögződéseket kezeljük, amennyire lehet. Vélemény?

Oh, you do, do you?

Beus kérésére egy áttekintés az igékből:

to+inf vs. -ing.

A dolog érdekessége, hogy a kérés egy ilyen listára vonatkozóan egyenesen északámerikábú gyütt, mer' ott se' tuggya ám minden odaszületett, ányányelvi kolléga ja frankót!

Először is a kovászosabb igék:

Forget + to - inf = not remember

e.g. I have to go out. I forgot to buy a newspaper.

Forget + -ing form = not recall

e.g. I’ll never forget traveling for the first time.

Remember + to - inf = not forget

e.g. Did you remember to tell Sam about the meeting?

Remember + -ing form = recall

e.g. I remember talking to him before.

Regret + to - inf = be sorry to (it is normally used in the present simple and is followed by verbs such as say, tell, inform)

e.g. We regret to inform you that you have failed.

Regret + -ing form = feel sorry about

e.g. He regretted selling his house.

Try + to - inf = attempt, do one's best

e.g. We tried to move the heavy branch to the side of the road.

Try + .ing form = do sth as an experiment

e.g. If you can't go to sleep, try drinking some milk.

Stop + to - inf = stop briefly to do sth else

e.g. He stopped to fill the tank with petrol, then continued driving.

Stop + -ing form = finish, give up

e.g. He stopped drinking coffee because it upset his stomach.

Like + to - inf = think that sth is good or right to do

e.g. I like to pay my bills as soon as I get them.

Like + -ing form = enjoy (general preference)

e.g. Tom likes meeting new people.

Would like + to . inf = want (specific preference)

e.g. I would like to go to that new restaurant.
